Went for a drive out to southern Langley, which is a “micro-climate” with higher temperatures and less rainfall, which is great for wineries and farms.
Went to Vista D’oro Vineyard which does small batch, unfiltered/untreated wines. So, so good. Cloudy, nutty and fruity.
We also went to a lavender farm....because I like lavender. Smelling it, looking at it, eating it, wearing it and drinking it.
Cheers!

interesting, a sour, lavender gruit - any good?
S Langley must get some of that rain s hadow action the San Juans get too - half the rainfall of most other places west of the Cascades.

When I’m on my death bed, the last thing I ever want to smell is lavender. Make a note.

I really like the lavender sour, yah. The lavender really lends itself to a sour beer
